TREX is pleased to host a seminar on ISP Tools and Wavelength Division Multiplexing together with sponsors Adva Optical Networking Alcatel-Lucent, Netnordic, Nixu Software and Rittal. The seminar will be held on Wednesday the 30th of October 2013 at Technopolis Yliopistonrinne in downtown Tampere from 12:00 to 18:00 and continue as a networking event in their sauna department. The seminar will be of value to anyone interested in developing ISP services or networks, and of course to everyone interested in peering at TREX.

ISPs need a lot of very specialized business automation tools. Some of these tools are released to open source, some are products of other companies and some are just in house scripts. This seminar will have thought provoking presentations on this topic.

Wavelength Division Multiplexing is becoming more affordable and use cases for Coarse and Dense WDM are becoming more prevalent. Some new technologies such as 100Gbps Ethernet positively rely on WDM in order to work. We have invited industry experts to shed light on what's going on in the world of photonics.
